At Rock the Boat, we are very proud that the founder of Rock the Boat, Annabel Eyres, has been announced as the winner of the Artistic Contribution to Rowing Award at the 2024 World Rowing Awards.
Annabel founded Rock the Boat in 1989 to fund her international rowing career. Annabel represented Great Britain at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics in the Women's Double Scull.
Annabel's artistic talents and in-depth understanding of rowing are evident in the designs she produces and are now available not only on clothing and gifts, but also on limited edition prints which you can hang on your walls and which make great presents.
Speaking on her nomination, Annabel said "It's wonderful to have been nominated by World Rowing for the inaugural Artistic Contribution of the Year award. It is inspiring to see that Art is being recognised as an integral part of sport we all love."
